went metal detecting a couple of afternoons this week and just got a chance to post the finds. A complete zinc ball jar lid ( I usually just find pieces) , a pewter button, part of a harmonica reed, couple of pistol bullets, an unshot percussion cap (first one I have found), a gold ring with no stone, melted lead, modern bullet, a square nail, and a 69 caliber two ringer that's great on the one side but has a huge hunk missing on the other. No it's not a shovel ding. It has patina inside the split. Happy hunting.
